As children grow, Mandarin needs to feel relevant to their world. Our Levels program connects structured language learning with real-life themes, creative tasks and shared experiences — giving students reasons to speak, read and write, and helping the language become something they can use with purpose.

For children growing up in an English-speaking environment, using Mandarin can take encouragement and meaningful practice. Our three-tier experiential approach combines language skills with participation, reflection and application, supporting a continuing connection with communication and culture.

Students are placed with consideration of age, home language and learning goals. Weekly themes provide a clear focus, while experiential activities bring the language into context.

Centre-based classes run for 60 minutes each week, with no more than 8 students. Your child's class placement takes their age, home language and learning objectives into account.
