About Super Mandarin

OUR STORY

Two educators. One shared vision.

Super Mandarin began with a shared belief: learning Mandarin should help people communicate with confidence, connect with culture and see the world from a broader perspective.

How It Began

OUR BEGINNING

Before moving to Perth, Shuling had built extensive experience in education, teaching Chinese to native speakers and Mandarin as an additional language in Sydney. She had long hoped to establish an internationally minded Mandarin school in Australia—one that could serve as a meaningful bridge between Chinese and Western cultures.

After settling in Perth, she met Vanessa, an educator who shared the same aspiration. Having taught in a bilingual international school in China and experienced both Chinese and Australian education systems, Vanessa was equally passionate about bringing together the strengths of both approaches.

Through many conversations, research and careful planning, their shared vision gradually took shape. In 2022, they founded Super Mandarin in Perth: a welcoming learning community where language, culture and confidence grow together.
